Liberals are ecstatic after Donald Trump’s former national security advisor Michael Flynn plead guilty in Robert Mueller’s investigation into possible collusion with Russia. However, they’re ignoring Barack Hussein Obama’s huge connection to Flynn.
Freedom Daily reported that it was just revealed that Flynn lied to Vice President Mike Pence in his capacity as National Security Adviser about speaking with a Russian ambassador he was fired after twenty-four days on the job. However, everyone is ignoring the fact that Flynn’s talks with an ambassador from Russia were done and approved under the Obama administration. On Friday, Trump’s White House said that it was the Obama administration that authorized Flynn’s communication with Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak during the presidential transition phase in late 2016 and early 2017.
“They are saying here at the White House that Flynn’s conversations with Sergey Kisylak were quote ‘authorized’ by the Obama administration,” CNN correspondent Jim Acosta said. “We should point out, that is something that we have not heard before in terms of a defense from this White House.”
A senior WH official told CNN that the Obama admin “authorized” Flynn’s conversation with Kislyak. But former DNI Clapper just told CNN that’s “absurd.”

If this is true, it would mean that the Trump administration is not at fault because the Obama administration approved Flynn’s actions.
James Clapper, who served as the Director of National Intelligence under Obama, spoke out to try to shoot this down.
“That’s absurd. That’s absolutely absurd,” Clapper said on CNN. “There was great concern at the time, not just with this particular contact, but with the violation of the principle that historically been followed of one president, one administration at a time. So to say that we blessed it, or acquiesced it is a stretch.”
