Millions of Americans were furious this week when illegal alien Jose Ines Garcia Zarate was found not guilty of murdering Kate Steinle even though he confessed to the killing. Now, yet another innocent girl has been killed by an illegal immigrant.
Breitbart reported that a 14 year-old Texas high school student was killed after a car driven by an illegal immigrant crashed into the back of her grandparents’ vehicle. Police say that the Mexican alien was drunk and was driving at a high rate of speed and ran a red light when he crashed into the car.
Rhyan Moody, a cheerleader at Colleyville Heritage High School, was killed by the drunk driver.
“She was coming home from dinner with her grandmother and grandfather in Fort Worth. The driver was going 68 [miles per hour] in a 40 and T-boned their car,” said her stepfather, Caines Johnson.
The incident occurred in Lake Worth, a suburb of Fort Worth. Jose Victor Chaparro-Saenz, 38, was arrested and charged with manslaughter, two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, and resisting arrest.
Officials from U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement have confirmed that Chaparro-Saenz is a Mexican national who illegally entered the U.S. in 1998. At the time, immigration officials offered Chaparro-Saenz the opportunity to voluntarily return to Mexico.
After learning of Chaparro-Saenz’s arrest, immigration officials placed a detainer on him to secure custody of the man if he is released from the Tarrant County jail. First responders found alcohol in his vehicle at the time of his arrest, and it was clear he was intoxicated.
“He rolled up the window on officers and wouldn’t get out of the vehicle,” said Lake Worth Police Department Chief Corry Blount.
Police were forced to break the glass and unlock the door to get to the suspect. Chaparro-Saenz then tried to fight the officers, but they were able to quickly subdue and handcuff him. He is currently being held without bond and Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has an immigration hold on him.
The medical examiner found that Moody died from blunt force head trauma sustained during the crash.
“She was truly an outstanding young woman. She was the nicest, most kind-hearted person to her family, friends, and anyone who needed help,” Moody’s stepfather Gaines Johnson told reporters. “This wasn’t an accident. It was just a senseless, reckless, and selfish act.”
