Judge Jeanine had quite a brilliant Opening Statement, and she called out NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell and NFL players and owners for blasting President Trump.
President Trump used his Huntsville rally on Friday to condemn NFL players and owners who protest the national anthem. NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell released a lengthy statement, and actually excused players who disrespect the anthem.
“The NFL and our players are at our best when we help create a sense of unity in our country and our culture. There is no better example than the amazing response from our clubs and players to the terrible natural disasters we’ve experienced over the last month. Divisive comments like these demonstrate an unfortunate lack of respect for the NFL, our great game and all of our players, and a failure to understand the overwhelming force for good our clubs and players represent in our communities,” Goodell wrote in his statement.
Judge Jeanine didn’t like any of the comments, and blasted Goodell. She asked him if he was really interested in getting into “this fight.”
“Are you sure you want to get into this fight? Instead of taking sides against the national anthem, maybe you ought to think about your stock holders [and] investors. And, don’t give me this crap that you guys want to support reform and stand up against social injustice. Shame on you. Shame on all of you. And shame on you too, Roger Goodell, for not showing you love this country as much as the president does,” Judge Jeanine said.

She is right. NFL owners and players disrespect the national anthem and President Donald Trump. Although they all claim to stand by the US flag, they keep disrespecting the anthem. How far will people like Donna Edwards go in their criticism for President Trump? This has got to stop, and Roger Goodell should start acting reasonably. It’s about time that NFL players stop disrespecting the national anthem.
What do you think about the comments Judge Jeanine made? Do you agree with her? How will President Trump respond to this? Do you think he will condemn owners who support NFL players in their protesting?
