The 69th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards was supposed to honor the best in U.S. prime time television programming for the past year, but as always, it turned out to be an anti-Trump program.
The Emmys host Stephen Colbert opened the show by lighting up President Trump with a series of insults in his monologue. Using some offensive words, such as Treason, Colbert did his best to use the platform in order to push his liberal ideology.
However, the so called Emmy Awards ‘drama’ didn’t stop with Colbert. ‘9 to 5’ stars Jane Fonda and her liberal pal Lily Tomlin, joined by Dolly Parton on the stage, took their turns at hitting Trump with a knockout punch. And it’s right where it hurts the most – below the belt.
As Dolly Parton, Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin were on stage at the Emmys to introduce an award, they blasted President Trump as a “sexist, egotistical, lying, hypocritical bigot.”
The three Hollywood legends worked together decades ago in the movie ‘9 to 5.’ The movie from 1980 was about three women who work for the biggest ‘sexist egotistical lying hypocritical bigot’ boss in the world. He wants to take advantage of his head female office staff, while humiliating, downplaying, and condescending against them whenever conveniently possible, which in this scenario was Tomlin.
“Back in 1980, in that movie, we refused to be controlled by a sexist, egotistical, lying, hypocritical bigot!”
And Tomlin continued:
“And in 2017, we still refuse to be controlled by a sexist, egotistical, lying, hypocritical bigot!”

As you’d expect, these comments were met with applause and cheers from the Emmys crowd.
