Rep. Scott Hamann Threatens Trump’s life on Facebook, Quickly Regrets And Apologizes

You already assume that Scott Hamann isn’t the first person to earn a visit from the Secret Service for threatening to kill the President. However, he is the first person to do this while being a sitting politician.

In a new statement, unsurprisingly, Hamann says his death threat was “aggressively sarcastic and inappropriate” and gave a kind-of apology that is really well known these past few months from the American left.

In addition, what Scott Hamann wrote in the Tuesday night post, according to The Daily Caller.

Trump was installed by the russians, because they wanted to undermine democracy and embarrass our country,

Don’t like the truth? Well then f*** you, snowflake. You’re a f****** p****. And you people are destroying America.”

Trump is a joke, and anyone who doesnt have their head up their a** understands that. 100% of intelligent Americans agree that Trump is a complete loser.

But go back to clinging to your guns because you’re afraid. P****. See, it’s not only Trump supporters who can talk like complete a*******. As long as that’s what’s coming out of that side, then I’ll match you dumb f***s word for word.

Trump is a half term president, at most, especially if I get within 10 feet of that p****,he ended.

But Hamann isn’t the first public figure to say that he would like to physically assault Donald Trump. Joe Biden has already been there, he is the one who first imply that he would kill him.

When the rant began to go viral, Scott quickly showed remorse about what he have said.

“I regret my impulsive decision to post something aggressively sarcastic and inappropriate in a Facebook exchange with a childhood friend,” Hamann explained, according to the Portland Press-Herald.

“While the tone of the post was born out of frustration with the vile language currently surrounding politics, I should not have responded with the same language. This is not language I typically use, it does not reflect my personal values, and while misguided, it was intended to make a visceral point about the devolving political discourse in America.”

Two things that we can note here: you threatened to kill the president and than blame the whole thing on being “aggressively sarcastic.” Really? And second thing, he says “This is not the language i typically use”. Like for real? So you just learned those words earlier this week and figured you’d give them a test drive?

It’s funny how we can easily compare this situation to Reza Aslan’s excuse for calling the president a “piece of s***” in a Twitter post and than saying that he typically don’t use this kind of language.

Demi Kouzounas also reacted to this and didn’t buy what Hamann said in the apology either. She also called Hamann “unhinged and dangerous” and asked him to give resignation.

Demi said: “Words cannot even begin to describe the level of revulsion I feel after reading Rep. Scott Hamann’s recent tirade that has come to light. Perhaps the most alarming aspect of this tirade is an implied death threat against our president.

Hamann’s apology likely won’t save him a bit of unpleasantness with the Secret Service.

The Secret Service is aware of the comments in question and are investigating the matter. Allegations of any threat, inappropriate interest or unusual behavior directed towards a Secret Service protectee receives the highest priority of all our investigations,” explained the Secret Service in their statement.

So now Mr. Hamann we wish you a good luck with your defence “aggressive sarcasm” when you meet with the Secret Service.

We really think that you’ll need it.
