As the anti-Trump rioters flood the entire nation, counter-demonstrations that back President Donald Trump are on the rise in recent times, including the “March 4 Trump” movement.
Pro-Trump demonstrators have engulfed the Washington Monument and the Trump Tower in New York who have exhibited their support of our recently inaugurated President.
The “March 4 Trump” movements are supposed to indicate unity in spit of what organizers call “a seditious fringe” that targets to undermine Trump’s vision for his nation. Several hundred supporters assembled in NY close to the Trump Tower, shouting “U-S-A.” A protester erected as sign on which was written: “I am not a Democrat anymore.” Another read: “Yes he is our president.”
Another gathering at the Ohio Statehouse in Columbus became a clash of words when anti-Trump demonstrators yelled “No Trump, No KKK, No Fascist USA” over the supporters’ “U-S-A” shouts.
The demonstrators in Columbus showed how those who oppose our president can think of no valid reason to disapprove of Trump by associating Trump with fascism, or absurd accusations of racism and affiliation with the KKK.
Even though anti-Trump riots resulted in unexplained violence and hostility, progressives ought to remain silent at least for a moment and reflect on the acceptable and peaceful protests by pro-Trump demonstrators.
